Who We Are
We are a Lutheran Church. Our church is a part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a body of believers in Christ Jesus who are committed to preaching and teaching the truths of God's Word.
We are an Evangelical Lutheran Church. Evangelical means that we concentrate on the message of Christ and him crucified. Because God's Son suffered and died on the cross, there is forgiveness of sins to all who believe.
A Congregation of Believers
St. James congregation consists of people who recognize their sins and look to Christ Jesus for forgiveness of those sins. "God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them." (2 Cor. 5:19)
